The Roses Trophy of the Andes is a rally exclusively feminine and solidarity, which takes place over 2000 kms in the Argentine desert, in the heart of the longest mountain range in the world. More than a car race, the rally is like an orienteering race. Without any notion of speed, the goal is to rally at the pace of the day, by traveling as few kilometers as possible but passing all the control points of the circuit. Organized by Désertours, an expert in rally-raids for 30 years now, a whole technical and media team is mobilized upstream and during the race, ensuring the smooth running and the success of the Trophy.

Concerned about the ecological impact, the organizers of the Andes Trophy take care to minimize its environmental footprint by offsetting the greenhouse gas emissions of all the organization vehicles and by using eco-citizen tools when of the rally.
The road books are printed on recycled paper. The Rally Code of Conduct recommends all participants to "ride soft" and with a constant speed, in order to limit fuel consumption and therefore CO2 emissions. The Andean Trophy involves little off-piste to respect the natural environment. Road books given to crews are established on already existing tracks. In 2019, the rally team reinforces its involvement by committing to the Yann Arthus Bertrand foundation- Good Planet. Thus, by offsetting the greenhouse gas emissions of all organizational vehicles, Desertours strives to minimize its environmental footprint and supports the development of projects to combat climate change.

See the projectsThis structure specialized in the equitherapy supports children with motor, sensory or mental disabilities, who, in contact with horses, see their accelerated motor and psychic progress. A medical team composed of physiotherapists, psychomotor therapists, psychologists and speech therapists adapt the sessions to the pathology of each child. The Salta center hosts 98 beneficiaries of weekly equine therapy sessions. Material support was provided in 2018 to the San Antonio de los Cobres village school at 3800 meters above sea level, which is home to 60 young children all year round. Thus, 80 blankets, bed linen and a washing machine were brought to equip the boarding school.
